A while ago, I was searching for a way to help the Republican Party restore some order to the chaos we call "Normal Life." I dediced that the best way to accomplish this was to use my computer talents by way of website design. I've created a few freebies here and there, but am often asked two questions when it comes to creating a website: "how much," and "how fast?"

I've learned through my years of web design that those two simple questions can have very complex answers. I've also learned that people don't generally like complex answers. Therefore, I have two simple answers: "$800", and "next weekend." Here is how the process works for my "Turn-key Political Website."

  1. Basic Contact Information is obtained.
  2. First, Second, and Third choice of domain name (.com, .net, .org) is chosen.
  3. $200 retainer is obtained by cash, check, or PayPal.
  4. Domain name is registered and "Coming Soon" Placeholder is uploaded.
    • This process may take 24 - 72 hours depending on domain registrar and nameserver settings. (Out of my control)
  5. Political pictures, background colors, layout and text are chosen.
  6. Website is created and put on a test server. (Usually done within 5 days from date content is chosen)
  7. Website is approved by candidate.
  8. $600 is obtained by cash, check, or PayPal.
  9. Website is hosted for one year from date of registration.

If you already have your pictures, text, and layout in mind, a website can normally be up in less than 72 hours.

Once your site is approved and published, it is important to keep it fresh with current information. This helps ensure repeat visitors and helps increase your rankings within search engines. I charge $30 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments, for updating your site. I will bill you at the end of each month. Unless you are completely overhauling your site, most updates can be done quickly and for a minimal (if any) fee.
