We had a successful release of five Painted Lady Butterflies. The Botanical Gardens were very nice to let us release them in their butterfly habitat and we hope to start the adventure all over again very soon.

Noticeably Larger in Day Three

The larvae have become noticeably larger today and have become much more active. All larvae are moving, which means I was wrong when I stated one was dead. When watching these little ones, I’m beginning to see more detail including their mouths moving and different color spikes on their backs.
